The Sherman City Council is expected to consider approval of a $265,000 contract with Lloyd Plyler Construction for the installation of the former Texas Theater sign and the construction of a plaza around it.The sign was once a part of the Texas Theater in downtown Sherman during its heyday in the mid 20th century and served as a local landmark for downtown.
